About

About Mariana

I am the source behind the work. A data architect, founder, artist, and builder of systems, stories, and objects with structure.

My practice moves across technology and art, from regulated data infrastructure to painting, writing, and public work. Different rooms, same instinct: make the invisible structure visible.

01  /  Foundations

From early foundations to public work

A private early life, then a new life built in the United States. From retail floors to public service to data systems. The details are private. The pattern is not: pay attention, do the work, and leave the room more ordered than you found it.

02  /  Practice

From data systems to trusted infrastructure

Years inside regulated environments built a habit of architecture first. That habit was built across nearly six years inside DHS and USCIS environments, on systems that had to hold up under audit. I care about systems designed with traceability, care, and the ability to explain how they work.

03  /  Art

From structure to art

Painting and mixed media became another way to study structure. Symbol, restraint, texture, and what remains unsaid. The Ferne is where that practice lives.

04  /  Now

The work now

My work now moves between Archetype Core, The Ferne, writing, and public teaching. Different rooms, same instinct: make the invisible structure visible.

If the work needs structure, start here.
